Villa Romeo

Villa Romeo is a small holiday home in Üzümlü, near Kalkan, laid out for two guests with one bedroom and one bathroom. Its modest scale is not a shortcoming here; because every corner has been planned with a single couple in mind, the house has a calm, inward-looking character. It is a place made for a honeymoon or a quiet break for two.

Mornings begin in the kitchen to the sound of the coffee machine, while the dishwasher and fridge keep housework to a minimum even on a short stay. Air conditioning keeps the rooms cool in the summer heat, and in the evenings an internet connection and satellite TV let you unwind without losing touch with the outside world.

Location & Views

Üzümlü is a quiet village set back from the bustle of the Kalkan coast, where a rural feel still prevails. Everyday needs are close at hand: a supermarket and a restaurant are both around 1 km from the villa. The town centre is 9 km away and the nearest beach 9.5 km, so beach days start with a short drive. Dalaman Airport lies 125 km away, which is worth factoring in when planning your arrival day.

Bedroom

Bedroom 1 — With its double bed, the villa's only sleeping space works as a fully self-contained retreat thanks to its en-suite bathroom; the shower room opens directly off the bedroom and is never shared with anyone.

Pool & Garden

The outdoor pool measures 7 × 3.5 m and is 1.50 m deep. Because it is heated, swimming remains possible in spring and autumn, when the water would otherwise still be cool. Set in a sheltered spot, the pool is surrounded by a garden that offers a peaceful place to sunbathe or sit out in the cool of the late afternoon. The villa's jacuzzi rounds off the hours by the pool, while the barbecue is there for those who like to cook dinner outdoors.

Things to Keep in Mind

• Walking to the beach or the centre is not practical, so car hire or a private transfer is recommended; there is parking at the villa.

• The villa is arranged for a single couple only; a third guest cannot be accommodated.

• Please ask before booking about the periods and conditions under which the pool heating can be used.

• As the villa sits within a village in a natural setting, insects and night-time sounds are to be expected.

Villa Romeo is an understated choice for newlyweds and for couples who want to keep swimming outside the busy season. To check availability and make a reservation, please get in touch with Villa Direkt.
